Finnish Calendar (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a mobile application developed and operated by Valorbyte Oy, a company based in Finland.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and protect your privacy when you use our app.

3. What Information We Collect
3.1. Information You Provide
The Finnish Calendar app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name or email address.
All calendar event data (titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, etc.) remains on your device only.
3.2. Automatically Collected Data
We collect limited analytics data to help us understand app performance and improve the user experience.
This includes:
- Anonymous app usage statistics via Firebase Analytics
- Anonymous authentication IDs created via Supabase (used only for support and linking subscriptions)
- Subscription and purchase events handled through RevenueCat
These data points do not personally identify you and are linked only to a randomly generated anonymous ID.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process limited data for the following purposes:

5. Data Storage and Retention
- Calendar data and user-created events are stored locally on your device via Apple’s EventKit framework.
- Anonymous analytics data is stored by Firebase and Supabase in accordance with their own retention policies.
- We retain only minimal, non-personal support data as long as necessary to maintain app functionality.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties.
We use trusted service providers to operate the app:
- Firebase (Google LLC) – analytics
- RevenueCat – subscription management
- Supabase – anonymous user authentication and backend storage
Each provider processes data under GDPR-compliant agreements and may transfer it outside the EU with appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access – You may request information about the data we hold about you.
- Rectification – You can request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Erasure – You can request deletion of any data related to your use of the app.
- Restriction and objection – You can object to certain types of processing.
Since we only store anonymous data, these rights may be limited, but we will make all reasonable efforts to comply.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Because personal calendar data is stored locally on your device, you control its security through your device settings and Apple’s privacy features.

Finnish Calendar is suitable for all age groups. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Significant changes will be notified through the app or via the App Store listing.
